We would like to inform you that since internet-based transmission of data exhibits security gaps, complete protection from access by third parties is impossible.
Server data
For technical reasons, the following data (among others) your internet browser transmits to us (and, respectively, to our webspace provider) are being collected (so-called server log files):
- browser type and version
- operating system used
- website from which you visit our page (referrer URL)
- website you are on
- date and time of your access
- your internet protocol (IP) address
These anonymous data are being saved separately from any personal data you may have entered, so no particular person can be identified. They are evaluated for statistical purposes in order to optimize our internet appearance and our products.
Contacting
On our page, we offer you the opportunity to get in contact with us via e-mail and/or a contact form. In this case, we save the information entered by the user to process the contact. Nothing is transferred to third parties. Also, no data are matched to data that other components of our page may have retrieved.
Commenting
We offer you the opportunity to leave comments on particular entries on our page. For this, the IP address of the author/owner of the connection is saved. This is done for our security in the eventuality that any authors through their comments violate the rights of third parties and/or illegal content is being posted.
Therefore, we have an interest in the saved data of the author, since we – under certain cirumstances – can be held accountable for such violations of the law. No data is transferred to third parties. Also, no data are matched to data that other components of our page may have retrieved.
Implementation of social media buttons using “Shariff”
On our website, we use the c’t project “Shariff.” “Shariff” replaces the common share buttons of social networks and thereby protects your surf habits.
“Shariff” inserts these share buttons on our website merely as a graphic, which contains a link to the respective social network. By clicking on the graphic, you are forwarded to the service of the respective network.
The Shariff button only establishes a direct connection between the social network and our visitors when they intentionally click on the share button. Only then your data are transmitted to the respective social network. If the Shariff button is not clicked, however, no exchange whatsoever between you and the social networks will occur.
More information on the c’t project “Shariff” can be found under http://www.heise.de/ct/artikel/ShariffSocialMediaButtonsmitDatenschutz2467514.html.
Using “Shariff,” we insert the following social networks on our page:
- Google+
Info/Cancellation/Deletion
Under the Federal Data Protection Act, you can contact us for free for any questions you might have on the collection, processing or use of your personal data and their correction, barring, deletion, or if you want to refute an earlier consent.
We inform you that you have the right to a correction of false data or the deletion of personal data if no legal obligation to store such data compromises that claim.
